Commitee to Save Grafton?

The people of Grafton will vote to see if they will abolish the planning board on March 8, 2005. The Free Towners(Grafton for Freedom?) must be happy. This is one of the things they wanted to do. Anyone know what Tim Condon and Mike Lorrey have been up to?

The Committee to Save Grafton seems to endorse abolishing the planning board. Does anyone know who is a part of the Committee to Save Grafton? I wonder if they are trying to associate it with the savegrafon.org website or this blog?

Jon Thompson is running against Gretchen Renee for the planning board. I find this kind of strange, as he is one of the biggest proponents of abolishing the planning board. Does he want to destroy the planning board from within?

Wendell Clough is running a write in campaign against Jenny Joyce for Selectman.

Anyway, "The Committee to Save Grafton" paid to have what looked to be a 'reply letter' printed in The Cardigan weekly newspaper. It was a reply to a letter that appeared in the Grafton Focus.

These links are to .gif scans of The Cardigan:

Yea, but jerks like Lorrey and CONdon still plan on moving to Grafton.

"If you folks give Dalton a re-think, give us a holler. With our most recent land purchases this spring we own 1550 acres in Dalton with 6 miles of road frontage. We would be happy to see a change in town administration."
I never understood how the FTP people could pass Dalton up. You got an invitation. WTF more do you need?

Dalton was the very first place I looked at, the first time I went to New Hampshire. I had been given faulty information that Dalton had no Zoning. It DOES have Zoning (see
http://www.nhes.state.nh.us/elmi/htmlprofiles/pdfs/dalton.pdf).
There are good people and anti-Liberty fuckwads in both Grafton and Dalton. The anti-Liberty fuckwads in Dalton can keep us out with their evil Zoning Law. The anti-Liberty fuckwads in Grafton cannot, because they are overwhelmingly outvoted by the good people there, UNLIKE DALTON.

Mike Lorrey Quote from FSP forum

"This is a good idea, something I've supported from the start. I do highly recommend, though, that you not focus on political activities at ALL. The idiots who screwed up the FTP taught everyone that lesson. Focus on buying land, developing housing, building business opportunities. You take care of these things, and politics will just happen."

I wonder if Mike considers himself and Tim Condon to be idiots.
