Quote of the Month

Update- Original QOTM disqualified

Two quotes tied as runners up, and will share Quote of the Month status. Both quotes are from the Concord Monitor article, Libertarians set sights on Grafton that was on the front page Sunday June 13th, 2004.

The honors go to Tim Condon, FSP Director of Member Services, for his quote:

"We just want to move in and be good neighbors"..."I can't think of anything in particular that we would do to change the place."

Tim, who is this we? Do you have a mouse in your pocket? Are you the Free Town Project spokes person?

And Amanda Philips, Free State Project President, for her quote regarding the Free Town Project,:
"They're not associated with us in any way."

Whoops! Amanda forgot to include the word 'officially' in her quote. To say the Free Town Project is not associated with the Free State Project in any way is, uh,...silly. Maybe Amanda has a mouse in her pocket too. What percentage of Free Town Project members are also Free State Project Members?

Original (disqualified) Quote of the Month -"Philosophically, I have no problem with people who want to start "free town" projects and put together a local majority of migrators. It's a free country, and a free movement; do what you like!" -JasonPSorens

That is a quote from the Negative PR re Free Town thread that got locked, then moved, and must step down as the quote of the month. If it is a free country, why did you start the Free State Project, Jason P Sorens?
